ABSTRACT
The association between psoriasis and cardiovascular disease risk has been supported by recent epidemiological data. Because of
increased prevalence of cardiovascular co morbidities in patients with psoriasis, dermatologists should consider the disease as
a possible multisystem disease and warn these patients for the prospective negative effects of their disease. Therefore, studies
should concentrate on instituting the exact mechanisms that concluding cardiovascular disease risk in psoriasis so that proper
protective strategies and treatment guidelines can be created.
